Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility

Jake has changed out the CF4 cylinder on the Trion.

Recently we noticed users have placed trash (used gloves, masks & shoe covers) in the laundry hampers and hairnet/shoe cover bins. This is a hazard and unacceptable. Please place all waste in the proper trash bins and if you have any doubts please ask staff.

We have revised our equipment certification limits. Please see our website to find out the new limit for equipment you have access to by visiting: http://www.inrf.uci.edu/all-equipment/. All users should receive a two-week warning before access to a tool is revoked due to non-usage within the specified limit.

Thanks,
INRF/BION Staff

This is just a reminder that Jake will be out today, tomorrow & Monday and will be back on Tuesday the 27th. Like always, the acid/wet etch rooms will be closed until he returns.

  • Jake will be in today and tomorrow and plans to be off Thursday, Friday & Monday.
  • Lifeng will be off this Thursday.
  • Mo will be off Wednesday and here on Thursday and Friday.

We hope this helps a little with your planning.

Jake has come in today to try and help complete the new STS upgrade so the wet etch/acid rooms will be open. He plans on taking Wednesday this week off instead.

Note: Lifeng will be off Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
