HF bench will be down from 2 – 6 pm Monday in order to run the dicing saw.

Staff will be performing a regeneration on Monday to the Ebeam 1 & Mark 50. The Mark 50 should only take a day however the Ebeam 1 will take up to 3 days. We will let you know when the Ebeam is back online.

Grand Re-Opening Holiday Celebration

  Dear Colleagues and Friends, You are invited to join us for the INRF Grand Re-Opening Holiday Celebration! This will be a time for cleanroom users, faculty, staff members and anyone interested in learning more about the cleanroom to network and enjoy holiday festivities. We will provide food, drinks, good company and fun!  This event will be held in the Calit2 Auditorium and Atrium from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 We will also have a raffle among current users that bring poster boards to display research that has been conducted in the cleanroom.

HF bench will be down from 1-5pm today in order to run the dicing saw.

Today in the inorganic area of the BION, TSS and EH&S are conducting a training exercise. We are not shutting these rooms down but be aware that there could be up to 12 people in the room with you while you work. This will be going on from 8:30am – 11:30 and 12:30pm – 3:30pm today.

Today we are touching up the walls in the outer hallway of the INRF. Please be aware that the walls will be wet.

  • Friday, November 11th is a campus Holiday (Veterans Day)
  • The INRF and BION cleanrooms will remain open throughout the Holiday break.
  • All the tools will be accessible for those with access to them however HF (rm 1432) & Inorganic (rm 1421) rooms will be closed.
  • INRF Office will be closed and lab staff will be off during this time.
  • Please contact Jake via cell/text immediately if you have any issues with the tools or other emergencies. (Do not send an email with your issue!)

The HF bench will be down today after 4:30pm. It will be available again tomorrow morning.
