We were going through quite a big of nitrogen this weekend so Jake turned off the flow in certain areas. (HF room, Inorganic, parylene room, ma56, casper, & hot embossing). If you are working those areas please check before you start your project.
This Friday, Praxair will be connecting a temporary nitrogen tank trailer in order to keep the lines active during Mondays removal/install. This will impact visitor parking in the Calit2 loading lock (the loading dock will still be accessible). Jake will start shutting down most equipment starting Thursday night and then bring them back up once the install is complete. The cleanrooms will remain open during this time.
Jake will be holding his User Meeting today at 1:30 pm in rm 3311.
The tentative dates for the nitrogen tank removal at Calit2 are June 8th and 9th. During this time we plan to keep the nitrogen supply lines active but at a reduced output until the install is complete. The INRF & BION cleanrooms will remain open however some equipment will be taken offline. We are still working out the details so we will post any changes that arise.
The pump for the STS tripped out this morning due to high chillwater temps. We are going to use this time to complete some much needed maintenance on the equipment. We have no estimate at this time as to when it will be back up. We will let you know ASAP.
Just a reminder that Jake will be holding his User Meeting today at 1:30 pm in rm 3311.

Calit2 Community,
It has been brought to my attention that a group of students has been propping open the Calit2 main atrium entrance doors after-hours and using the patio as a dance rehearsal space. The door has been found propped open all night through to the morning. Use of the Calit2 patio for any unauthorized activity is strictly prohibited. UCIPD has been notified and will be patrolling the area. If you find any object propping open the Calit2 main lobby atrium door or any other secure area door after-hours, please remove the object and feel free to notify me either by email or calling my extension 824-4488.
Thanks for your assistance.

Director of Facilities, Calit2
There is no DI water in the INRF Cleanroom. Facilities has been notified. This does not affect the BION.
