Engineering Gateway (INRF):
The SEM & FEI are down this morning due to Facilities monthly generator testing. Usually we have no problems but for some reason it tripped the system this morning. Jake will come in later this morning to get them back up.
Lithography in the BION will be down all Saturday (9/20) for Facilities work. It will be back up on Sunday.
Starting at 8 am today (Tuesday) and ending at noon on Wednesday Facilities will be shutting down the Bosch vacuum pumps. Lithography and Hot embossing areas will not be available.
Compressed air out in the INRF, Multiple equipment down. Facilities has been notified and we will let you know when we find out.
MA6 will be down for bulb replacement and should be back up later today.
The vacuum tube for SU8 spinner in BION is completely blocked by photoresist residues. We will post an update when it is back up.
The HF bench repair is scheduled for Saturday the 21st. That room will remain closed until then.
The HF bench in the BiON did not pass certification and has been tagged out. We will have someone come out and adjust the phoenix valve ASAP. We will post an update as soon as one is available.
The initial problem seems to be that the cooling water recirculating pump seems to be not functioning properly. Until Jake gets a chance to take it apart and give a better look the STS will remain down. We will update the Blog once we have word. Please do not ask him as he is very busy.
