STS Users,
A representative from BOC Edwards will be on-site tomorrow to service the STS dry pump. Due to this the STS will go offline tomorrow morning. Unless any unforeseen issues arise, the system should be back online by late afternoon.

INRF Users,
The INRF compressed air is now back online. However due to lack of available parts, the compressed air will need to go down again this Thursday 2/7/19.

INRF & BiON Users,
A couple of lab and facilities updates:
The compressed air in the INRF will be offline this weekend Sat Jan 26th and Sun Jan 27th. The INRF will be closed as a result.
As an FYI, the STS Turbo will turned off during this time and brought back online on Monday Jan 28th.
In the BiON, the DI water system will go down for cleaning Monday Jan 28th through Wednesday Jan 30th.
The following week in the INRF the compressed air will be offline Feb 4th and 5th.
Lastly as an FYI, Santa Ana winds are forecasted in the near term so humidity levels may be affected and could go out of spec ( outside of 45-55 %). We encourage users to monitor the levels via the in lab displays, the Forged system, and any notifications Staff sends out as well.

This Monday 1/21/19 is a campus holiday, and as such will be like any other non-staffed time (evenings, weekend). Please plan accordingly.
Also, in the INRF, Laurell spinners 1 and 2 are offline for maintenance. They had a lot of build up and are going through a thorough cleaning.

We’ve just received word that the chiller for the STS has a 50/50 chance of returning to us on Dec 27th. If not, it will return Jan 2, 2019.

INRF & BiON Wet Chemical Etch Users,
Due to the short staff tomorrow Fri Dec 21, 2018, the wet chemical etch rooms will not be open and available until 11am tomorrow versus the usual early morning time.

Due to the upcoming holidays, the INRF and BiON will not be staffed as of end of business day Friday Dec 21 through and until Wed 1/2/19. These days will be treated as after-hours and like weekends. Reminder the wet etch rooms will be locked as per usual for non-staffed hours.

FM has completed DI water PM. The DI resistivity is at 16 meaohm-cm . The DI water in the INRF is back online.
