Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility

Air Handler Unit (AHU) # 7 will be shutdown tomorrow between 7:00AM – 8:00AM. This will affect the INRF cleanroom as the pressure will be negative during this time, so please adjust your workload accordingly.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

The INRF Store now carries Double Sided Polished 4″ wafers. They are priced at $34ea.

Details: 4″ P/B <1-0-0> 1-10 OHM-CM, 375 ± 25 μm, DSP WAFERS

Facilities will be shutting down Air handler #3 for about 30 mins right now. The make up handler should pick up the slack but please keep an eye out for any changes.

The Calit2 house vacuum air system will be unavailable tomorrow between 7:00 am and 10:00 am due to maintenance. The lab will be closed during that time. My apologies for the short notice. Please contact immediately if there is a problem with this.

The start date for the new proxy readers has been pushed back. We do not have a new start date as of yet but we will keep you posted.

Jake is taking the day off today therefor today’s User Meeting will be cancelled.

We expect the installation of the proxy card door readers to be installed this coming Tuesday, 1/28/14. Once installed only those users that have been qualified (training log must be signed) and that have completed the chemical usage form: https://www.inrf.uci.edu/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/chemical-usage-form.pdf will be authorized to access.

Let us know if you have any questions.

The INRF/BION cleanrooms & office will be closed Monday for the M.L. King Jr. Holiday. After hours users will still have limited access.

Thanks,
INRF/BION Staff

A flannel long sleeved shirt was found on the cleanroom rack where gowns are located. Please come to the INRF office to pickup.

Please direct all minor trouble calls for the BION to Gregory Gallardo @ gegallar@calit2.uci.edu. This would be for issues regarding high/low heat or humidity and card reader issues. Please note the room # and be descriptive of the issue. Any major issues should still be reported to Jake Hes and/or Ryan Smith ASAP.

Thanks,
INRF/BION Staff
