Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility

INRF Users,

The electrical work originally planned for Tues May 15th has been re-scheduled to be performed Monday 5/21/18.

Reminder: There will be some electrical work for RM 2315 and as such this room, as well as potentially several adjacent rooms, will lose electrical power.

The STS, and the Hesse Wirebonder will definitely lose power and so will be offline this Monday 5/21/18 day. Other tools in other nearby rooms on that side of the cleanroom may very likely be affected and offline also.

Please plan accordingly,

STAFF

INRF Wet Process Users,

INRF’s RM 23225 and 2320 (wet processing rooms) will be taken offline for several hours starting approximately 12pm noon on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  There will be some work performed on the door entries, and Facilities Management has estimated the job to take 3-4 hours if all goes well, and they estimate the work to be performed starting at 12pm noon.  They could not give concrete times rather best estimates.

Please plan accordingly.

INRF & BiON Users,

Effective immediately we have a new ticket request system in place on the Forged.  For any and all requests from staff (not including any training or foundry requests), please use this new Forged feature to open up a ticket to request assistance.

Once a user submits a request for assistance in this service ticket, ALL staff are notified immediately that you are in need of assistance.  Please remember to be as descriptive as possible when submitting tickets to help staff best know how to assist you.

The ticketing system is now live.  Please see the instructions on how to use below:

Users submit tickets via https://inrf.forged.systems/dashboard/equipment/service/
Current issue types: equipment malfunction/environmental/process artifacts/yield issues we can add/remove to these
Staff is then notified via email/in system notification of the new ticket

Tickets users have opened are available via https://inrf.forged.systems/dashboard/home/equipment/my-tickets/

BiON Users,

It appears the Calit2 Humidification project is extended past the Fri 4/20/18 original deadline, and so the BiON is still shutdown and unavailable for use. The new expected deadline is 4/24/18. We’ll be sure to update as and when we know more.
