BiON Users,
We’ve received word that the BiON might have a full or partial shutdown from Saturday April 14th – Fri April 20th. We’re eagerly awaiting a decision from Facilities Management and EH&S and we’ll let you all know as soon as we do.
What we do know at this time is that Air Handlers 3-4 in Calit2 that service the cleanroom and labs above floor 2 will be shutdown during those dates and it looks like the lab will become negatively pressured, so any work requiring a class 100, 100, or 10,000 space will likely not be possible. Fume hoods will likely not be fully functional either.
Again, we’ll update with more concrete news and details as soon as we know, but thought to give heads up now to folks.
