Due to a leaking high temperature water line, the freight elevator pit in the EG west wing was flooded. Water in the pit is currently being pumped out by a tanker truck and due to the possible extent of damage to elevator equipment the repair process will take one to two months, during which time the elevator will be out of service. We will try and help out as much as possible with students that need third floor access or have heavy items to move.
A service order has been put in about the high temperature line and the heat in the building should hopefully be restored shorty. We will let you know on any updates.
